I seriously do not belief this bug to be a duplicate of bug 776309,
since that other bug is so far only about deskzilla-program, whereas my
bug is much more generic.
I would probably agree with this bug being a duplicate of either:

But quite definitely https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/776309 is the least
helpful 'original bug' link, as far as I can see in terms of information
availability, depth of discussion and scope of problem as concerned to
my issues.
