Public bug reported: Binary package hint: util-vserver
I installed the current Debian 2.6.18 vserver kernel and am using Ubuntu's packages for everything else, including util-vserver. I wanted to make a vserver, so I did this: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/vservers# /usr/sbin/newvserver --hostname demo --domain localdomain --ip 127.0.0.2s_context: 0/usr/sbin/newvserver: line 416: 1659 Segmentation fault /usr/sbin/vserver "$VHOST" build -m debootstrap --rootdir "$VROOTDIR" --hostname "$VHOST" --interface "$INTERFACE:$IP" $CONTEXT_ARGUMENT -- -d "$DIST" -m "$MIRROR" -- $ARCH_ARGUMENT --include="$INSTALL_PACKAGES" --exclude="$REMOVE_PACKAGES" newvserver: error: vserver-build failure. Cannot continue. So I thought I would try a simpler invocation of "vserver build": [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/vservers# vserver lyceum build Segmentation fault That seems clearly broken. For comparison, on a Debian stable (etch) machine with a vserver kernel and Debian util-vserver: rose:~# vserver las build No build-method specified So the Ubuntu segfault is clearly a bug! ** Affects: util-vserver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- "vserver build" segfaults https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/109731 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
