I can confirm this behaviour and I can also confirm that if you kill lxsession it drops the CPU down to lower levels (watching CPU usage on host computer when running Lubuntu in a VM) but also logs you out. Upon logging in lxsession goes back to 100%. ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 797094 lxsession in Lubuntu uses 100% CPU ** Changed in: lxtask (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/796843 Title: lxtask shows 100% CPU usage regardless of actual usage To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxtask/+bug/796843/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
