Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cvs
Hi, I’m the new maintainer of CVS in Debian, and have made a totally new package. The Ubuntu specific changes from 1:1.12.13-12ubuntu1 by Kees Cook have been included there (thanks!): not using snprintf in gnulib’s vasnprintf to avoid “having %n in writable memory”. Thus, I confirm explicitly that the Ubuntu changes should be overridden. The package builds cleanly in a fresh (2011-06-11) oneiric cowbuilder, and lintian (2.5.0ubuntu1) doesn’t complain much. Basic operation testing passes. This sync will close most if not all remaining open bugs of cvs in Ubuntu. ** Affects: cvs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/795966 Title: Please sync cvs 2:1.12.13+real-5 (main) from Debian sid (main) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cvs/+bug/795966/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
