lightdm 0.3.7-0ubuntu2 in PPA only natty, for oneiric only 0.3.7-0ubuntu1 - previously requested assembly in the PPA, you do not want to do, and check the asking. Updated the system and set lightdm 0.3.7-0ubuntu2_natty after reboots twice failed to be loaded and jumped out gdm, but when you run lightdm then the network was defined and started working.
