I've exactly the same problem as Martyn Russell. I've upgraded my distro to Feisty, and now when i try to reboot i get :

If i boot with the old kernel 2.6.17-10 and initrd 2.6.17-10 it works well and my new feisty boot. I think there's a problem with the new initrd and sata controllers...
