Hi Jakub, We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to work on all triaged bugs as soon as we would like. This bug is in triaged status, this means that it stands the best chance of being looked at by developers, however I am unable to provide an estimate of when this might happen.
For now, I can suggest a possible workaround that involves using the previous, known-good Maverick kernel (2.6.35). For this, you should create a file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/maverick.list containing these two lines: deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick main restricted deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick-updates main restricted (you might want to substitute "us" for the identifier of a mirror closer to you). Then run these commands: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install linux-image-2.6.35-28-generic When your system is booting, press the left shift key to get the grub menu and select the kernel you want to boot. Please test that everything works as expected, then you could potentially configure the system to boot the Maverick kernel by default, however I'd appreciate if you could test new Natty kernels as they come out, and let me know if one of them solves your problem. I'll continue to keep an eye on this bug's progress, hopefully we'll get it looked at soon. In the meanwhile I hope the proposed workaround helps with your system's behavior.
