I am marking this bug as closed. It is fixed in my updated 10.04 LTS and
I have confirmed in 11.04 that the status bar message now reads
"Prepares the selected files to be copied with a Paste command". If
anyone is still finding this bug I would suggest updating the
installation and opening another bug if this reappears again in future.
