I'm finding that the crashes are now intermittent with kernel 2.6.38-8. I've seen the end of a kernel backtrace when it goes down, and it looks like it may be related to the wireless drivers. As I can only see the last few lines on the eee's screen, I can't tell for certain.
I've set my machine to dump its kernel log over the network as shown here: http://www.tocpcs.com/howto-log-a-kernel-panic-it-can-be-done/, so I'm hoping that next time it goes down I'll have a full backtrace to attach. If you have another computer on the same network segment, you might be able to do the same. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/780030 Title: Eee PC 1001 hangs on boot after 10.10 -> 11.04 upgrade -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
