im having the same problem, The conection dont load on boot is i try pppd it say that there is no password for connection... so i allways have to use pppoeconf every time i boot... But the main problem is that pppoeconf doesnt work anymore, it dont detect neither ETH0 or ETH1, and say that there is no modem.,
