@Mark : No, not quite. the bug you mention says that focus stays with the app that you open, whilst this bug addresses the problem of that not happening. A solution to both bugs, as Mark Shuttleworth pointed out in the previous bug report, is not changing compiz focus prevention levels but to have some sort of system which checks whether the previous window really needs the focus
