I still have problems with the mouse, but not anything like the one in this bug report.
The only problem I have now is that while trying to select a sentence by depressing the left mouse button and dragging, the selection is dropped before I get to the intended stopping place. Sometimes when trying to select only a prefix or suffix or improperly spelled portion of a word the entire word or sentence is selected. I have begun to wondered whether it is the mouse and have ordered a new mouse. I am using a Logitech 505 laser mouse. Perhaps my only remaining problem is a hardware problem or possibly the mouse driver problem.
