Nevermind, I figured it out. PhpMyAdmin wasn't liking the fact that PHP4 was disappearing. Here's what I had to do:
1. Uninstall phpmyadmin via Synaptic Package Manager 2. Run upgrade 3. Install PHP5 via SPM 4. Disable PHP4 module in Apache2 5.
