Nevermind, I figured it out. PhpMyAdmin wasn't liking the fact that PHP4
was disappearing. Here's what I had to do:

1. Uninstall phpmyadmin via Synaptic Package Manager
2. Run upgrade
3. Install PHP5 via SPM
4. Disable PHP4 module in Apache2
5. Install phpmyadmin via SPM

This ticket can be closed, although somebody might want to look at the
phpmyadmin and/or PHP5 packages to see if something about the
dependencies needs to be fixed.
