It is now working after I downloaded the latest updates today, which I
noticed contained a pulseaudio update. Also, I may have had it set to
go through SPDIF which I thought would also allow it to go through the
other output, but it could have locked out the other output while going
through SPDIF.
I think this can be closed now, thanks for looking into it.
