Public bug reported: Using Kubuntu, Feisty, Have approx 15 samba shares showing on the desktop.
The default label says "Remote Share (//servername/sharename) (sharename)". When attempting to modify the label to show only the sharename, an error occurs. "Access Denied /mnt/Remote Share (%2F%2Fservername%2Fsharename) (sharename)" Changing the label should not affect the mount point in any way. The Gnome interface appears correct, but the Kde interface appears to be broken. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Unable to rename Remote Share Samba desktop icon labels https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/109260 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
