On my Inspiron 1545, hibernate / resume work much better in Natty-- better than Maverick, and probably also better than Lucid. Resume from hibernate in particular is much faster and smoother than it has ever been. Time required to hibernate is also quite reasonable. Maverick would fail to hibernate every so often, hanging instead... but I haven't seen any such issues in Natty so far.
