Can you try out whether the problem also happens with GPL GhostScript.
>To do so, do

sudo apt-get install gs-gpl
sudo update-alternatives gs

The second command presents a menu, choose gs-gpl there. Can you still
reproduce the bug? Or can you create the desired PDF file now?

If you cannot print on a real printer any more now, you printer needs
ESP GhostScript. Return to use of ESP GhostScript via

sudo update-alternatives gs

and choosing gs-esp.
