Well, two weeks have passed. Should the package maintainer still roam among the living, the following might interest her or him:
Using strace, I found that qbankmanager looks for /usr/share/aqbanking/i18n/de.qm and not for the above mentioned /usr/share/qbankmanager/i18n/de.qm . Using a symlink I could circumvent the problem. But: the file de.qm contains only english text, instead of the german translation. So the "no translation found" error vanishes, but the interface is still english. If the package maintainer needs any support or help, I'd be happy to provide it if I can. If I was frustrated I could just go ahead and compile everything myself from upstream, but that wouldn't help Ubuntu would it? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/779105 Title: qbankmanager doesn't find german translation file -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
