I see this on my MacbookAir3,1 on Ubuntu 11.04, "sudo rmmod bcm5974; sudo modprobe bcm5974" has always fixed it. Using bcm5974-dkms 1.1.9 from the mactel-support PPA on kernel 2.6.38-8.42.
