Will this package be backported to Feisty? I think that (advocacy-wise) it will make a lot of difference. The message regarding this problem, "as is" in the Chess game, is not very helpful for novices. Games are usually one of the very first things that a new user will try upon installing a new system, and I believe that Chess is going to be somewhat popular as a mean to try out the new installation, even if just out of curiosity.
