Sorry, I cannot test with natty because it does not boot properly on my present computer: it takes about 2.5 minutes to boot. The problem is always like this:
May 2 18:29:01 fermium kernel: [ 1.176091] NET: Registered protocol family 1 May 2 18:29:01 fermium kernel: [ 1.176102] pci 0000:00:01.0: MSI quirk detected; subordinate MSI disabled May 2 18:29:01 fermium kernel: [ 146.550117] pci 0000:01:05.0: Boot video device May 2 18:29:01 fermium kernel: [ 146.550126] PCI: CLS 64 bytes, default 64 May 2 18:29:01 fermium kernel: [ 146.551233] PCI-DMA: Disabling AGP. May 2 18:29:01 fermium kernel: [ 146.551326] PCI-DMA: Reserving 64MB of IOMMU area in the AGP aperture The delay seems fish to occur when the radeon driver is loaded. As these boot times are very annoying, I removed natty again. With debian kernel 2.6.38-5 (linux-image-2.6.38-2-amd64) there is no startup delay. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/451513 Title: cannot mouse-resize window after moving it with Alt+mouse -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
