I just experienced this bug or something very similar! I created a rule with a filter by the subject line to move the message into a folder that I created. When I clicked OK and the window closed I went back to my Inbox - only to discover that it was empty. Upon further examination, I noticed that every email in my Inbox got sent to the Trash folder.
I tried this again - and it is totally repeatable. This (without a doubt) is a serious bug and might give the user some unnecessary anxiety when he/she discovers that every email in the Inbox folder is gone. Thank God that it's actually in the Trash folder and can be easily recovered. Since this bug report was closed - I hope that the new information I submitted will shed some new light on the matter and perhaps the incident can be reopened and investigated further. Thanks for an almost great piece of software. Everything else seems to be working perfectly!
