I observe that Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme Ethernet adapter is not reliable under heavy load. When I copy data to my notebook it is OK (but I am not sure, maybe I am just lucky...). When I try to upload data from my notebook to the server in LAN, I observe that network hands after few seconds. I have to unplug and plug network cable to fix the problem but it is a fix for several seconds and communication hangs again in a minute. I found it is better for me to use external USB network adapter that is slower than fast on board NetXtreme adaptor that hangs...
