Yes, I'm still getting it too.   Except I've noticed now that the
trash isn't always empty.

I have multiple partitions on my disk.  If I delete something from my
/ partition, that shows up in  my trash applet.  However, if I delete
anything from any other partition, my trash applet is empty and I have
a new hidden trash folder called .Trash-username at the top level of
whatever partition contained my deleted file.
