I am using a Fujitsu T900 with an ALC269. Before snd_hda_intel is set, I
get three microphone inputs: "Internal microphone", "Analogue input" and
"analogue microphone". None of them picks up any signal.
After setting snd_hda_intel mode=auto in modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf, the
problem disappears. But now I have only two microphone inputs, "Analogue
input" and "Analogue microphone".
Perhaps snd_hda_intel mode=auto should be made the default setting?
(I thought mode=auto was the default setting?)
