Just a thought (this is concerning the HVR-1300 only), but seeing as it
appears that everyone is having this problem, with recent kernels, and
it only needs to be fixed by commenting out those same few lines in the
source code, and recompiling. Wouldn't it save a whole load of hassle if
we were able to sorta have those 5 lines commented out/removed in the
first place, so that from then on, the drivers would work out of the
box, without the need to download and recompile them? Maybe someone
could contact the v4l guys and try and get it sorted? Just a thought,
please tell me if there's anything preventing that?
