Today, I updated the BIOS to 709, which unfortunately did not make any 
difference.
Note says only, "1. Fixed system hang if the HDD is NTFS format and the 
allocation unit size is not 4096 bytes".

Sorry, I misread your post first. You have the H67 chipset with graphics ports. 
Still, it may be very similar to mine (P67), at least in terms of connectors 
and micro ATX form factor.

Updating the BIOS is done by putting the *.ROM file on a usb drive and
then choosing "update" (last tab) from within the BIOS menu. No need for
Windows : )
