Using the lsb_release command shows that I have 11.04 natty version. I understood that there is a new desktop that I could use from the sign-on screen. I don't see that there. I have just attempted to perform an update with 20 updates. I hope this does not show any broken packages? I received a message "Package operation failed" The details stated "dpkg: error processing firmware-b43-installer (-configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
This seems to be the same message when I attempted the update process. Can anyone share any information on this error. Also, I understood this was the official problem site for Ubuntu. If not where is the correct place to report bugs/errors?
