hi, it's not the same behavior, If you try to open for example 3 windows of nautilus and minimize 2 of them when you click on the icon in the launcher scale mode allow you tho choose which window you want to maximize.... the other windows after stay minimized. But if you minimize all windows (of nautilus) this behavior don't work....super+d enable scale mode of all windows maximized.
