Gnome3 shell is coming along fantastically. It's leaving Unity in the
dirt. (I'm using the Gnome3 PPA and loving it)

If personally feel if someone hadn't allowed their pride to be hurt we'd
be going in a better direction now.

I don't feel it's right denying users the choice, when such a fantastic
range of choice exists. Radio Dialogs and Dropdowns are computationally
cheap, and they can be hidden away in an "Advanced" button/tab in the
installer without confusing new users.

Doesn't make sense to me having so many forks when all these problems
(and more) could be solved in the installer.

As for the space requirements of such a task, there is no reason to
limit an iso to 700mb anymore. cd's have effectively died out and
internet bandwidth has increased (a smaller version of course still has
it's uses and needs)

User Upgrades should _NOT_ change the users current shell. It's part of
the reason I'm so ticked off about it. It's a betrayal of trust.
