I believe this bug is the result of a corrupted .deb file in your local
.deb cache. Please try running:

sudo apt-get clean

And then run

sudo apt-get -f install

This should resolve any issues you are seeing.

Closing as Invalid. If you still believe there is a bug please feel free
to open a new bug or re-open this one by changing it status back to New
and explaining here in comments.
