Binary package hint: ecryptfs-utils
1. Install Ubuntu with encrypted home.
2. Login.
3. Open a terminal, and start a screen session (screen).
4. Log out.
5. Login.
6. Resume the screen session (screen -RD).
7. Open a new screen (^Ac).
What happens (the new screen opens zsh in /):
22:50 holizz@koma:/%
What should happen (the new screen opens zsh in ~):
22:50 holizz@koma:~%
For some reason, logging out and logging back in again, causes new
screens opened to open in / rather than ~. I presume this has something
to do with the ecryptfs volume being unmounted when you log out.
