I'm was just updating my kernel in a ASUS EEE-PC 1005-HA from
"2.6.38-8-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Mon Apr 11 03:31:50 UTC 2011 i686 i686
i386 GNU/Linux" to  linux-image-2.6.38-9-generic, and speakup failed to
build and opened the window to report.
