I have a similar problem with various kernel versions running in 10.04
including 2.6.34-generic. As was suggested above if I pull the SDCARD
suspend function fine, otherwise it fails. I also tried to unmount the
SDCARD prior to suspend, and it (suspend) works if SDCARD is unmounted!
