It doesn't matter what guest is running: Ubuntu (10.04.2 LTS, 10.10, 11.04),
FreeBSD (9-CURRENT), OpenBSD (4.9), openSUSE (11.4), Debian (6.0.1). It doesn't
matter at all.
I've doubble checked now: it is releated to latest updates. Installing from
Ubuntu 11.04 iso-Images makes virt-manager work. Updating after install to the
latest versions of all libraries makes virt-manager crash. Maybe it would help
to recompile virt-manager to make it work again?
