Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: libreoffice

To reproduce: Open libreoffice writer, type some words. Mark them, right-click
> paragraph > initials. Tick the "show initial" box.
Bug: The background of the initial is gray and any other background color
setting is ignored.

When I mark the initial, right-click > format > background and set
"auto" it stays gray, "white" will create an almost white background,
that is, only a thick gray line is left at the bottom.
