We definately don't want to do that. The reason we can't really support xulrunner is we don't have the manpower to keep updating and porting applications which are using it, and because of these applications, we won't be able to deploy xulrunner updates as fast as we can with firefox.
Moving applications to Firefox just shifts the problem to exactly where we don't want it.
