Public bug reported:

I wonder if there will ever be a corresponding linux-source package for
the lts-backport kernels. I need it to compile a custom kernel, and I
have not yet found out how to do this with the source package (something
different than linux-source-..., which is technically a binary package).
What I usually do is:
install linux-source-2.6.xx...
untar /usr/src/linux-source-2.6.xx....
cd /usr/src/linux-source-2.6.xx
make menuconfig
make-kpkg --configure
make-kpkg --kernel-image

If some one can tell me a way to accomplish the same with the lts-
backport kernels, I would be very happy.

** Affects: linux-lts-backport-maverick (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
