Today I updated ubuntu from maverick to natty. Eclipse has been working fine before. But now when I open an PHP file an try edit it, eclipse freeze in short time and I have to kill it. It seems to me that eclipse usually (but not always) freezes when I move the cursor to a variable and occurrences of this variable should be marked. Steps to reproduce: ----------------------- I re-installed eclipse from the standard ubuntu repository $ aptitude install eclipse and then added the Galileo repository Galileo Update Site - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/galileo/ and from the programming laguage section I selected php development tools (pdt) sdk feature PHP Development Tools (PDT) SDK Feature 2.1.1.v20090707-1108-51584QACJCRCUeNRkNYbOJecWK9O Then I opened a PHP file. Try to edit it, click on variable names so they are highlighted.
