Public bug reported:

When using "Check disc for defects" option in Xubuntu's menu I always get: 
"keys:Press any key to reboot your system" when the check is done. It surely 
doesn't inform me whether it was fine or not.
I'm using a USB stick.
This is the latest Xubuntu - 11.04. - Natty.
