@Phillip Susi: Unfortunately, I already have the latest BIOS version. I re-updated and also did a CMOS reset. Still, Windows 7's suspend works reliably. : (
I did 10+ runs of kernel suspend debugging with dmesg. Here are lines that contained "hash match": run 3: [ 1.384280] tty ttyS25: hash matches [ 1.384296] pci_link PNP0C0F:00: hash matches run 5: [ 1.356874] bdi 1:1: hash matches run 8: [ 1.337032] tty ttyS27: hash matches [ 1.337047] pci_link PNP0C0F:02: hash matches run 12: [ 1.356872] tty tty30: hash matches Keep in mind, that those didn't show up reliably. Most of the time there was no line "hash match" at all. On my mainboard, there are 3 pci express slots, but only 1 is used by an Nvidia graphics card. I also tried using another slot and removing the gpu altogether to suspend via ssh. It didn't make a difference. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/760842 Title: Natty Narwhal/Sandy Bridge Suspend Fails -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
