Here come two screenshots presenting the situation. The left monitor is my main monitor, so the Ubuntu starter is shown "in the middle" of the complete desktop area consisting of two screens. When this starter is hidden, one as to touch the left edge of that monitor's screen area - which is the exact middle of the complete area. Even the mode "touch upper left corner" is tricky - since moving the mouse pointer over the Ubuntu logo in the left corner does not fully display the starter, instead it triggers an animation to slide the starter in. To fully show it you must hit the upper "left pixel" - which is almost as difficult as reaching the "left edge"!
