same problem on Hp Pavillon DV6000 with NVIDIA GeForce 8400M. If I start in normal mode I can't restart/reboot beacuse PC freeze.... I must press for some seconds the power button. In normal mode I can't also access to text console tih CTRL+ALT+F1, the pc freeze again.....
