Public bug reported:
Cannot change mouse pointer on desktop. Gnome look pointers only work in
some applications (i.e., Firefox, Libre Office, yet not in Bibletime,
Gimp, Evolution, Okular, Rhythmbox). In most apps and on the desktop
only the small default pointer shows.
Ubuntu 11.04 upgraded from 10.10 32 bit
