Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gvfs
1) open nautilus while having a usb stick mounted 2) click on "Eject" Result: it will eject the usb drive but not offer to "empty trash" even though there is something in the trash bin. This used to work in maverick. I think "Eject" should offer to empty the trash since "safely remove" does not offer that either. Note: this used to work in MAVERICK, but no longer works in NATTY. ** Affects: gvfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: Binary package hint: gvfs 1) open nautilus while having a usb stick mounted 2) click on "Eject" Result: it will eject the usb drive but not offer to "empty trash" even though there is something in the trash bin.
