Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubiquity
I'mtrying to install Natty from the lastest iso (ubuntu-11.04-desktop-amd64.iso), I've configured proxy via "Preferences/Network Proxy". Firefox works well. But Ubiquity, when launched via desktop icon, doesn't try to connect to the proxy. And so, at the second step, ubiquity says that the computer is not connected to internet When I open a Terminal and launch "ubiquity", the internet connection is seen. (the "http_proxy" var is automaticaly set) ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/772414 Title: [Natty installer] ubiquity launch via desktop doesn't connect throught proxy -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
