** Description changed: Binary package hint: xorg I thought I already submitted this bug, but I can't find it anywhere on my profile. The screen brightness buttons don't work in ubuntu 10.10. I'm not sure what package this is in, but I would imagine it's in xorg. Note though that when I unplug the machine, the screen brightness dims (unless I uncheck it in the power manager), and when I turn up and down the brightness nob in the power manager, it does go up and down, but the screen will not become brighter/dimmer when pressing the command keys to do so. (So maybe it's just an issue with the key bindings?).
