Yes, the setting was set to the GConf backend. I guessed that maybe that
setting was broken so I set it to the flat file configuration backend
(which caused unity to crash) and then back to GConf. Now everything is
working fine and I've never seen this error message again. That wonders
me because I'ved never changed that setting before, the setting must be
damaged in another way. The bug is invalid. Thank you for your help an
