Public bug reported: When you create a new document in Oregano - 0.40.4-2 in Ubuntu 6.06 LTS Desktop on x86, the window title starts of as "Untitled.oregano", which is the default document name.
If you then save for the first time, or save as (effectively equivalent operations), the document does save under the new title, and subsequent saves will save there. However, the window title does not change to the new filename to reflect this, and remains "Untitled.oregano". Steps to reproduce: * Load oregano (with a blank document) * Verify that the window title is currently "Untitled.oregano" * Add a few items to the blank document * Save it for the first time * A dialog will pop up requesting a name. * specify the name * Hit the save button. * The document will be saved (which can be verified by checking the file system), but observe that the window title is still "Untitled.oregano". Alternative Steps: * Use file->open and choose an existing file. * Observe that the window title is the current files name * Select file->save as, and choose a new name, then hit the save button. * Again, observe that the file has actually been saved, but that the window title remains the same. ** Affects: oregano (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- Window title does not change after first save https://launchpad.net/bugs/56461 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
