Yes, they decide a case in natty to downward instead of dropping.

I cannot see a clear difference of these settings.  In our decision that
has simply reason,  "monospace" (in Ja-configs)  has not "DejaVu"
entries, so we decided to drop from "sans", "sans-serief" too.
